Issue

Andura were approached to carry out a full assessment of the situation on Regency House; a prestigious building located in a conservation area in Royal Leamington Spa. The previous problems associated with the building related to previuous works carried out using inappropriate materials which had resulted in a problem of bleed through staining.

How it was solved

Throughout the process, Andura were required to work closely with the Property Management Company, Faithful & Gould and Regency House Residents' Association. A programme of assessment and testing was commissioned. At the conclusion of the testing process, a proposal was made and Andura submitted a specification for consideration by the client and project management company. Andura Pro-Flex was specified. Pro-Flex is a high performance, crack accommodating elastomeric pure acrylic protective and decorative coating.

Outcome

Andura's proposals were accepted and a contractor was engaged to carry out the works.

"We are delighted with the finished result" said Peter James, the Chairman of the Residents' Association. "Andura have been extremely helpful and totally professional in their approach from the commencement of this project". "Amy Palmer from Faithful & Gould stated "It's been a real pleasure to work with Andura on the project. We would certainly value the opportunity to work with them again on future commercial projects".
